Terms of service
RATATOSK (ratatosk.io) reads the release notes of CNCF projects and publishes AI-generated analyses. By using the site, feeds, API, or MCP server you accept these terms.
The service
- RATATOSK provides analyses of open-source release notes — summaries, change facts, and upgrade guidance — on the web and through RSS feeds, email notifications, a REST API (/v1), and an MCP server.
- Everything is currently free of charge; the API has a fair-use rate limit. This may change in the future, and any change will be announced in advance.
Content and attribution
- Original release notes belong to their respective projects and authors. They are redistributed here with a link to the source, under each project's open-source license (Apache-2.0 for most CNCF projects).
- Analyses are generated by RATATOSK using AI, as commentary on those notes.
- Project names are trademarks of their respective owners. RATATOSK is an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by CNCF or any listed project.
- If you are a rights holder and want content corrected or removed, write to [email protected].
No warranty
- Analyses are AI-generated reference information. Accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed; an analysis can miss or misread a change.
- Always check the original release notes before acting on an analysis — especially before production upgrades, and equally when the data is consumed by automated tools acting on your behalf.
- The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, RATATOSK is not liable for damages arising from use of the service or its data.
Accounts
- Sign-in uses your GitHub or Google account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate.
- Use that disrupts the service — such as circumventing rate limits or automated abuse — may be restricted.
